A Court of Silver Flames Pt. 2

Hi friends! I'm very excited to be sharing the May release from Bees Knees Lacquer. This launch features some new neons with pearlescent shimmers! Most of the shimmers are the same as the base color but shift at the extremes for some extra dimension. There will not be a full collection listing as there is 1 UP polish but the rest will be available in a collection for $90.

Death Gripped Her By the Other

Described as a rich plum with soft pink to green shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. A really pretty purple for the purple lovers.

His Voice Was Her Favorite Melody

Described as a bright pink with soft coral to orange shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. I'm not a pink lady but BKL is quickly converting me, I feel like every release there's a pink that I can't get enough of. This one made me feel like a princess and I couldn't stop looking at the pictures.

I Give It Back

Described as a soft purple with glowy gold to green to blue shimmer ($13). This is the purple sister to BKL's PPU polish Awakened. Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. If you liked Awakened you're going to love this one too!

 Lightsinger

Described as a rich tangerine with soft orange to green shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. This one definitely reminded me of a eating a dreamsicle in the summer.

Nothing Can Break Us

Described as a bright spring green with a glowy pink shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. This was still a bit sheer after three coats but I enjoyed it on it's own. I do think that between the pink shimmer and the sheer base the green can get a little lost. I think it could be worth while to layer this one over a similar spring green to bring the green back out. However that's not at all necessary to enjoy the polish, it's beautiful on its own.

Our Stories Are Worth Telling

Described as a grass green with soft green to blue shimmer ($12).
Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. This polish feels like walking through a meadow in early spring. My favorite. 10/10

Power Lay In Her Hand

Described as a mid-toned blue with soft aqua to purple shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. If you love blue you'll love this one, it's perfection.

She Would Happen To Him

Described as a light aqua with glowy green to blue shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. This was still slightly sheer after three coats but the VNL was minimal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My second favorite of the collection.

The Blood Rite

Described as a rich magenta with OG UP (red to green) ($15). Shown here in two coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. My photos show the original formulation of The Blood Rite but Sarah has announced that the version that will be available for purchase will have more UP. I did find that in the version I swatched, the opacity of the polish covered up a lot of the UP sparkle. Customers will not have that problem as the polish has since been reformulated.

Olive Group Custom: Trove of Nightmares

Described as a bright, summer olive polish with contrasting orange to green shimmer. Because of the strong shimmer color, the polish can pull more yellow in bright light and more green in low light ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. It was still a tiny bit sheer after three coats, I could see my nail line under bright lights.

Preorder begins 5/28 at noon EDT and closes 5/31 at 3am EDT.

Olive group custom: will be available for preorder at the same time.

Customers will need to join the Olive Polish group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1014784265282285) there will be a secret link in there for purchase.

Thanks for reading!

Bees Knees Lacquer I Fever Quotes I March 2021

*PR Sample*     Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing the other half of Bees Knees Lacquer's Fever Collection.  This collection was inspired by the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. This month's release is different because they have broken this collection into 2 parts, Fever Creatures which are Unicorn Pee finishes, and Fever Quotes which are Shimmer finishes. In that spirit, I have broken my post up into two as well. I've already shared my swatches of the Fever Creatures polishes so today I'm sharing the Fever Quotes which are seven beautiful shimmer polishes all of which are great for spring. I also have the new customer appreciation polish which will go on sale in tandem with the Fever Collection. UPDATE: Hope Strengthens, Fear Kills will no longer be releasing this month due to defective pigments so, I have removed the swatches from this post.     The One Who Will Never Let You Die Described as a clover green with blue to purple shimmer ($12).   The formul
