A Court of Silver Flames Pt. 2
Hi friends! I'm very excited to be sharing the May release from Bees Knees Lacquer. This launch features some new neons with pearlescent shimmers! Most of the shimmers are the same as the base color but
shift at the extremes for some extra dimension. There will not be a full
collection listing as there is 1 UP polish but the rest will be
available in a collection for $90.
Death Gripped Her By the Other
Described as a rich plum with soft pink to green shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. A really pretty purple for the purple lovers.
His Voice Was Her Favorite Melody
Described as a bright pink with soft coral to orange shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. I'm not a pink lady but BKL is quickly converting me, I feel like every release there's a pink that I can't get enough of. This one made me feel like a princess and I couldn't stop looking at the pictures.
I Give It Back
Described as a soft purple with glowy gold to green to blue shimmer ($13). This is the purple sister to BKL's PPU polish Awakened. Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. If you liked Awakened you're going to love this one too!
Lightsinger
Described as a rich tangerine with soft orange to green shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. This one definitely reminded me of a eating a dreamsicle in the summer.
Nothing Can Break Us
Described as a bright spring green with a glowy pink shimmer ($12). Shown here in three coats. The formula was great and I didn't experience any running, pooling, or staining. This was still a bit sheer after three coats but I enjoyed it on it's own. I do think that between the pink shimmer and the sheer base the green can get a little lost. I think it could be worth while to layer this one over a similar spring green to bring the green back out. However that's not at all necessary to enjoy the polish, it's beautiful on its own.
